If the answer is so obvious then why is obesity becomming an epedemic and our life expectancy descreasing to levels experienced similar to just after the second world war.

If you are fat, overweight or obese it is not only dangerous to your health but also extremely depressing. A vicious circle can materialise, I am fat therefore I am depressed the consequence is that I comfort eat. This is just one of the causes of weight gain.

Although there are many different and varying causes of weight gain, those that do not stem from a medical condition are in most cases a direct result of over indulgence or lack of discipline – this may not be the answer you have been searching for but nevertheless an undeniable fact.
