Dytrexil Hoodia Capsules Review

Dytrexil is quite unusual as it is one of the few Hoodia diet pill products that does not capitalise on the word Hoodia within its branding.

Marketed as 100% pure Hoodia Gordonii, Dytrexil claims that it can suppress appetite and increase the metabolism to gently burn fat.

The problem here is that Hoodia does not burn fat, it is an appetite suppressant and not a fat burner.

So there must be other ingredients present which rather contradicts the 100% pure Hoodia Gordonii message.

What is Dytrexil

As touched upon, Dytrexil is a Hoodia product that claims to be authentic South African Hoodia Gordonii - the official websites states it authenticity but actual documented proof does not appear to exit. There is no CITES certificate displayed.

The official website has an FAQ section where one of the questions is “Who Is Our [Dytrexil] Supplier” the answer quite comically is “Due to obvious business considerations, we don’t want to specifically name our supplier and alert competitors to our source.”

Including the supplier details would prove authenticity - so why not display? Brands such as Pure Hoodia freely display all documentation and certificates - it doesn’t appear to have harmed their business, it is still going strong after 10 years.

Dytrexil also claims that the product contains 1200mg of Hoodia Gordonii. This is where the problem lies, not just with Dytrexil but so many other hoodia products.

Some Hoodia Products contain Hoodia Gordonii powder - this is raw Hoodia that is considered the most potent form, undiluted and unprocessed. A standard sized capsule or vegecap can store 400mg of raw powder.

Some Hoodia products contain Hoodia extract. Hoodia extract is cheaper to produce and subsequently sells for approximately half the price of Hoodia powder products. Anything up to 1200mg of extract can be squeezed into a capsule.

Dytrexil contains Hoodia extract - this is a major negative.

Does Dytexil Cause Side Effects

Unlikely to cause any side effects. Both extract and powder are natural and relatively free of side effects.
