Jessica Simpson Gains Weight

Dramatic Weight Gain by Jessica Simpson

jessica-simpson-weight-gainJust because you’re a celebrity, doesn’t mean it’s any easier to stay slim. And Jessica Simpson proves this by showing off her fuller, curvier figure as she performed at a concert in Florida over the weekend. (see pic)

In a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Jessica admitted that she is an emotional eater, “I’m a nervous eater and this tour has made me a nervous wreck,” she said while explaining her weight gain over the past few weeks.

“Curves are better,” Simpson added later, “I don’t get the whole rail thing. It’s not good for your heart, it’s not good for your mind; it’s emotionally destructive, it really is.”

Although we review weight-loss products on this site, we do not condone the ‘Size 0′ mentality that some people seem to have. We agree that a sensible healthy diet, combined with the right dietary products and regular exercise can help people achieve a look and a body that’s comfortable for them.

So just because Jessica Simpson or Oprah have gained weight recently, does not mean it’s bad in any way. People have to be comfortable with their bodies. And if anything, it goes to prove how difficult it can be to maintain an ideal weight – particularly when you’re in the spotlight all the time.

We all lose and gain weight throughout the year, and some of us struggle more than others to keep the weight off or achieve our ideal figures.

Luckily though, there are some products that can help. From natural products like Hoodia, which help curb your appetite, to fat-absorbing products like Proactol which can prevent some of the fat you eat from turning into pounds on your body. It’s just a question of finding the product that works for you – and sticking to it for long enough so that it has a chance to work for you.

And although it’s interesting to read about the latest celebrity diet, and to see how much weight they’ve lost with a certain product; you have to remember that it isn’t necessarily going to work for you in exactly the same way. Particularly if they don’t tell you about the personal trainer who puts them through hell every day for 6 weeks so they can tell you about their latest miracle weight loss product!

So try a product that has got great reviews, positive press and has been working for people regularly for a year or two; then try it for yourself. Combine it with some moderate exercise and a healthy diet; then you can be the next celebrity weight loss story. Maybe you won’t make the cover of Vogue, but you’ll probably feel happier, healthier and fitter than you have for a long time.

Prescription Weight Loss Pills

Weight Loss Pills On Prescription

Prescribed weight loss pills

Weight loss pills via prescription – or prescription only weight loss pills means exactly that, only available via a prescription.

The type of weight loss pills that are obtained from your GP or doctor are very much weight loss drugs – far removed from the non prescription genre. In almost all cases the medicine obtained from a GP will be pharmaceutical grade, contain chemicals and almost no trace of any ingredient that could be considered natural or herbal.

Prescription weight loss tablets are not available to everyone – they are often given to patients that are at risk due there body weight and cannot diet sufficiently using more natural methods such as a change of diet or exercise.

Morbid Obesity

WIth over half of the UK population over weight and an increasingly large proportion heading toward obesity more and more people are turning to their GP or doctor for help.

The simple fact of the matter is that GP will not prescribe a weight loss pill to anyone for cosmetic reasons or vanity, their has to be a serious identifiable risk.

Body Mass Index

The general guide for self assessment is the BMI or Body Mass Index. It should not be used as a definitive guide but more tool for realisation that you may need to change your lifestyle, eating habits or both. Check Your BMI here.

If your BMI number is mid thirties you should consider losing weight – if you are nearer the 40 mark a visit to your GP is strongly advised. The 40 BMI range is a strong candidate for a prescribed weight loss pill.

Prescribed Weight Loss Pills

The two most common prescribed weight loss pills are Xenical and Reductil. There is no real hard and fast rule as to which tablet your doctor may prescribe. Xenical is the better of the two – it is proven to be more effective and a great deal safer in terms of possible side effects.

Xenical OrlistatIt is strongly advised for anyone considering buying Xenical via the web DO NOT – it is highly likely that the Xenical purchased will be less than genuine. Only obtain Xenical from your GP.

Prescription Only weight loss pills should only be obtained from a GP!

Does Over Eating Cause Weight Gain

Over Eating Causes Weight GainGlancing, uninterestingly at the title the question could be answered with a very patronising yes. If the answer is so obvious then why is obesity becomming an epedemic and our life expectancy descreasing to levels experienced similar to just after the second world war.

If you are fat, overweight or obese it is not only dangerous to your health but also extremely depressing. A vicious circle can materialise, I am fat therefore I am depressed the consequence is that I comfort eat. This is just one of the causes of weight gain.

Although there are many different and varying causes of weight gain, those that do not stem from a medical condition are in most cases a direct result of over indulgence or lack of discipline – this may not be the answer you have been searching for but nevertheless an undeniable fact.

Over Eating Causes Weight Gain

Possibly the simplest of equations that doesn’t really need explanation – having said that why are 40% of the western population over weight with the percentage rising year on year. A major contributory factor is the standard of living that the first world now enjoys. Our lifestyles have changed and the throwaway economy has reached such heights (or depths) that the percentage figure (in the UK) who can truly say that they are on the “breadline” is less than 1%.

Most of us realise that over indulgence will have a knock on effect and sooner or later we will have to pay the price – but do little to control our expanding waistlines.

Exercise and Fitness

To ease our consience, some of us enroll in a health club or gymnasium – we may buy home user fitness equipment. This is not enough – we should look at the fuel we put into our body.

Diets can seem like an over complication – different combinations of food taken at certain times of the day can give us energy, vitally and provide the stepping stone needed for weight loss.

The truth of the matter that is often overlooked is the fact that human body is extremely resiliant – it does not need a special diet to retain a healthy disposition. Most of us realise we consume more than we should and more of the wrong types of food.

Some specially formulated diets can have the opposite effect and make us less healthy – to remove fat completely from your diet is possibly one of the worst health decisions you could make.

Eat Less Food

Not the most powerful ending to this article or does it provide any revelation. The easiest and most natural way to start losing weight is to EAT LESS FOOD. A journey of what can seem like a million miles has to start with one small step.

How To Reduce Appetite

If will power or discipline is missing from your constitution an appetite suppressant may be needed. An appetite suppressant will naturally reduce your appetite and descrease your craving for food.

If you have not yet discovered the benefits of Hoodia Gordonii you are missing out on the most potent natural appetite suppressor in existence. Hoodia Gordonii will provide the self discipline and will power needed for natural and safe weight loss allowing you to continue eating what you want and when you want.
